Beating the Basin
To move quickly with determination and gusto, 2.
(verb): Beating someone soundly with the goal of
them going home to Mommy to cry uncontrollably for
hours, 3. (noun) From the Ancient Mayan, meaning a
warm cup of chocolate and yak butter. Basin (noun):
A depression in either the land or ocean,
reminiscent of the shape of a bowl, often sizable in
dimension. With World of Warcraft's third foray into
Battlegrounds based on geological features, I'm
betting on a canyon or creek bed for the fourth.
Arathi Basin has been thrust into the World of
Warcraft and for the first time it's an actual
battleground that is located right - and I mean
right - next to a flight path for both Horde and
Alliance. Nothing is more convenient, especially
when you're dealing with a queue, than being able to
get a spot in line and get back on your way to do
some questing, farming or general helping - all
within a minute or so. !
