Could this be it? The greatest MMORPG of all time
Now, as you may have noticed, there are many games that I've
reviewed on this site and given 10's to. However, after playing
this game and looking back, not one of them (except Final
Fantasy 7) deserve to have a 10.
The first truly earned 10 on my list goes to World or Warcraft.
I have been an MMORPG fan for a few years now, and I've invested
a lot of time into a lot of them. However, after the years of
leveling and exploring, this game gives you the experience of it
all over again, as if this were your first MMORPG.
Graphics: 10/10
I must say, the graphics in the actual game do look better than
the screenshots. You can enhance and cut down graphics via
ingame menu depending on your computer. Even when everythings
not up to its max, this game still looks damn good.
Sound: 10/10
This game excells in sound. Most MMORPGs have mediocre sound,
whether it be music, or the extremely rare voice acting. In WoW,
both are great. The music of towns like Stormwind give you a
feeling that you're actually living in the world. It's truly a
good setup of voice acting and music.
Gameplay: 10/10
This is the true place that WoW shines in. The gameplay of this
game is so incredibly good that you are addicted after playing
little over one hour. You can jump, swim, run, walk, talk,
fight, sit down in chairs, and do just about everything else
under the sun and moon. This game lets you interact with the
environment extremely well. Even death in this game is fun,
considering there is NO EXP LOSS. You are a ghost and simply run
a relatively short distance to your body and revive yourself
with no revival effects or anything, One of my personal
favorites, however, is that the entire world is connected. What
I mean is that there is no loading whilest you explore, etc.
Overall: 10/10
The game is good from A to Z. If you are a fan of MMORPGs, get
this game immediatly. If you are a casual gamer, get this game
immediatly. If you don't like video games that much, get this
game immediatly. It will make you like them. .
